These dolls on my headline are five representative of different tribes in China including surrounding areas like Mongolia. I've been reading quite a bit about Mongolian nomadic culture for a major project for one of my classes based on these dolls - a very interesting pocket of info I've since been unaware of. Above is the character/protagonist I designed inspired by the Mongolian doll. I am going to attempt to learn how to make flash books - I have so many to put up!
